Perennial that grows up to 12″” tall, best grown in shade that exposed to bright morning sun. Long thin leaves with a dark green margin merging with a golden yellow center that changes to cream white in the summer. Blooms in the summer, bright red scapes emerge producing violet coloured flowers, with red seed pods that last into the fall. Water regularly during first 1-2 months to encourage healthy root system.
