Blueberry ‘Chandler’ (one-gallon)

Vaccinium corymbosum

$13.99

This highbush blueberry is a vigorous producer of extremely large flavorful berries. Creamy white flowers in late Spring change to clusters of flavorful fruit that ripens mid to later summer, providing a harvest for up to six weeks after a long ripening season. This bushy upright deciduous shrub grows 5 to 7 ” tall, with small oval dark green leaves turning attractive shades of orange and red in the fall. Great addition to the edible garden, or massed as a hedge in the landscape. Full sun. Bird habitat.

Blueberries thrive in acidic soils of around pH 4.5-5.5. In order to create the best environment to start your plants, it’s recommended that you dig a hole roughly 3 times the size of it’s container and fill with peat moss before planting.
